The Y1 LSD trans on my JDM B16 from a 1990 SIR has a bearing making noise. It's believe it's either the Input shaft bearing or one of the other main or countershaft bearings cause it is grinding any time the clutch is engaged weather in gear or not.
My question is what I use for replacement parts?
I think I remember reading somewhere that the Syncro's are different on the JDM transmissions than whats used on the US models.
I need to know if that applies to other parts as well, or can I use parts from a USA Model cable trans.
