I have a 96 Civic X with a D16Y8 and a rough shifting trans. Does anyone know if I can bolt a A24A trans from a 95 Civic EX that has a D16Z6 motor in it up to my engine. At first glance, it looks like the cases are the same. Wondering if there are any electronics that may need to be swapped. Any info would be helpful.

yes it will work they are both hydrolic driven and d series trannys work with other d series just like the b series with b series, should bolt up no problem what so ever just use the y8 axles and what not should be good to go
