transmission fluid

ok so i need to change my transmission fluid cuz it doesnt even look pinkish no more its more of a dirty pink ..
and my car takes off a lil raspy ..
need help on how to change it ...

auto or 5 speed? drain plug on bottom of trans pan, fill is on the side
