I don't know. I thought I bought a GSR tranny. However, when my speed needle reaches 60MPH my RMP needle is at 3 1/2.

    Should GSR's be at 3k on 60MPH?

    Need help identify this tranny.

    Thanks in advance.

    in what gear?

If it's 5th, it most likely an LS.

    It's not a LS tranny. I know it's not.

    On 5th gear.

On LS tranny, when in 5th gear and the speed needle is at 60MPH the RMP is at 2/12.

I used to own an LS.

    Thanks though

Definitely not the LS, the LS tranny wouldn't have a higher highway RPM than the GSR tranny, its got a much longer 5th gear

Dude its either a gsr or a b16. If its a b16 then i would be happy. Shorter gearing which is beater imo.

S80 is a JDM ITR tranny...

The problem with S80 is it is also the USDM LS/GS tranny...it is also a variant of the GSR...the GSR was S80 and Y80.

Check out the Gear calculator and see which one you have.

If you are running a stock tire diameter:

    S80 JDM ITR 3500 RPMs = 65mph in 5th gear.

    YS1 3500rpms=63.42MPH in 5th.

LS trans you would be kicking 77-80mph.

So yeah, we need your exact tire size because nothing calculates correctly.

Still, nothing calculates.. You need to re-check your RPMs at 60mph. Make sure you aren't doing something like 65...

Your trans/tire size doesn't match up with any stock honda transmissions.. So either you are reading something wrong, or your final drive has been switched with some other trans.

The rpm and mph is almost similar to mine.

Sorry guys, it has S4 stamped on the sidewall. Sorry for the confusion.

    And I'm rollin' on 15s.
