Hi,
I have a 88 cx with a b17a1 and I-H-E. I am currently using a YS1 ( RS-93) transmission. I could get my hands on a YS1 (GSR-93). My question is as follows:
1- Change the RS for the GSR, i have to open up the GSR to change the third gear synchros.
2- Find internal componants from a hydro GSR and swap into the RS (93) casing
3- I would really like to put a fifth RS gear in either of these options, does my 93 RS fifth gear work with hydro internals?
Price wise if I outsource the work, what would be better?
All this to get under 14.7.
