TSX HID into TYC retrofit?

I've been reading the HID retrofit posts, very informative BTW. I would however, like to know if anybody here has tried retrofitting TSX HID projectors into the TYC one piece housing? are the TYC housings junk or will they accept an HID retrofit without any major issues? assuming I do the retrofit properly of course.

I've had bad experiences with ebay projector junk before, so I'm not sure of the quality of the TYC housings.
