I was also wondering if I should kill my V-TEC later on. Does it affect the performance by killing it?

Don't kill the VTEC. Nuking VTEC isn't feasible on a street car. It's done to save rotating mass in the valvetrain and to give a more consistent oil pressure on the track where the engine is always spinning at a high enough speed where it would have stayed in VTEC anyway. Keep your VTEC.

As for me, I would keep it all motor. That's my choice though. If you're not planning to do anything other than drag racing, I would turbo it.

6-speed tranny, short gears, it is meant to be an all motor beast.

    Peace*
