if i wanted to turbo my b18b with 160k miles on it....would there be anything i should do to make it more reliable and handle the boost better...i just picked up a cometic gasket set and thats all i could reallly think of...any other suggestions?
 
Tear it apart and clean it, rebuild it, with ARP parts, and make sure everything is within spec clearances, gaps, etc. check for good condition. And replace parts like the waterpump, thermostat, your cooling system will be affected harshly by boost.
 
don't forget to replace pistons and rods. 160,000 miles is a lot to boost on.
