Hello HondaSwap, I just wanted to share my video ->

Any type of comments are Welcome. Thanks for viewing.

YouTube - integra gsr twin loop

Sorry about the cars passing by, we went to some industrial Jurassic territory.

---Please excuse me for dropping the F bomb in this video, its not everyday you find a dinosaur. please rate 5 stars for the rare dinosaur! ---

THIS IS A REFERENCE VIDEO -
    Acura Integra Gsr
    CAI
    Stock headers
    Mugen B-pipe 2.25 inlet - 2.5 after resonator.
2.5 inlet obx TwinLoop 3" outlet

I was aiming for something with a low tone like the WS2. I looked up the twinloop and saw good reviews on forums, although I never saw any good videos or sound clips of it. So here's my twin loop gsr video.

Everyone has their own opinions on exhausts loud, silent, whatever, I wanted something that sounded stock but with better performance, Overall i'm pretty happy with it my set up. next video with 4-2-1 headers.

RATE 5 STAR FOR THE DINOSAUR!!!

I've been looking for an exhaust for my DB8 and I haven't decided on what I want yet. This oBX Twin Loop sounds pretty good. How loud compared to the RSR ExMag would you say it is?

I've never heard an rsr exmag in real life so I can't really tell you bro :[. Daily driving with the twinloop isn't loud at all. Have you seen the apexi WS2's? look into that exhaust also bro!

So how would you compare it to the stock muffler? I got kids, sound is a big issue to me. I can't have their ears ringing when their in my car lol.

One of my girl's friend's has a Apexi WS2 on her EP3 and I like the way it sounds. Would you say yours is about the same?

I'm just looking for a muffler because I will be getting a custom mandrel bent 2 1/2 inch piping. This OBX Twin Loop has a 2 1/2 inch inlet right?

I understand bro. The twinloop is friendly for daily driving. I hear my cai sucking air over the exhaust. Although after wide open throttle I noticed that the exhaust note is a bit higher when returning to daily driving style. I never heard a ws2 in person either but from videos I can tell its great at being silent. Yes an obx twinloop has an inlet of 2.5 inches and an outlet of 3inches. Good luck on the decision bro, I hope this helped!

Actually, it did help :) Thanks.

One last question though, I looked at pics online and it doesn't seem to have hangers. Did you just have the exhaust shop weld hangers on your brand new muffler lol? If so, where did they decide to weld them to, which part of the muffler?

Yes I had to fabricate hangers. I had them welded on the canister. Here's the best picture I could find of where the hangers are mounted ->

Itr mufflers are 2.36mm inlet piping. B16 said he wanted a 2.5mm. He would bottle neck if he fabricated 2.5 piping with an itr muffler. Unless he also got 2.36 piping and some-how came up on an itr muffler ;). <--- Would probably be the most silent compared to the aftermarket mufflers stated above.

Where would you get an ITR muffler? eBay and the like? I need a new muffler.

I have 2.5" piping with a resonator. Originally it had an N1 muffler. Sounded like garbage with the silencer and way too loud without. Next was a Vibrant Turbo. My favorite to date. Would have worked if the car was a weekend warrior, but just a little too loud for commuting. Now I have a Cherry Bomb Turbo. Sounded AWESOME out of the box. As close to stock as I have ever heard. I even passed inspection with it. Over time it changes though. I guess they're made out of crap materials. Now it's the loudest thing I've ever had on there. I bet if I pulled the muffler off and just had the resonator it would sound the same.

I was thinking about that but I couldn't find them for what I was willing to pay. People think ITR shit is made from platinum or some shit...

Do you know what size inlet is on the ITR axle back?
