Type R cap & rotor fit B16 dizzy?

I took off my cap the other day & noticed my rotor was worn to an angle as well as the contacts. Other than, cap looked pretty good. I'm getting some tuning done soon & was thinking about replacing the cap & rotor before hand. I can't remember where I heard this from but I heard a type r rotor is a little more beefier than regular b-series rotor & can be interchanged. Will a type r cap & rotor work on my obd-1 B16 distributor from my b16a3?

In case anyone wants to know, use the B16 cap & type r rotor. gsr/type r cap is a little wider, doesn't fit the housing of the dizzy. That would be all.
