building motor for n/a trying to reach 11.5:1 or more compression but not more than 12:1. having trouble trying to decide what crank would work best for build. have type-r head w/sk2stg3 cams all on b18c1 block. have gsr, type-r, and ls crank undecided yet. any with any info that would help reach compression?

    making compression

i guess i would just go with gsr crank since thats what came with the motor. Do i have to mill the head to reach compression? or can i just use what i have and just replace the pistons?what do you think about the gsr rods should i keep them and just put on some after market pistons to bump the compression or should i change the rods and pistons? trying reach at least 11.5:1
