type-r lsd

my friend is going to rebuild his cable tranny, i thinks it´s a Y1 but i´m not sure,
it´s in a 91 crx v-tec with the b16a1 engine.
anyway we were wondering if the type-r lsd from the hydro transmissions fits in the cable transmission and if anyone has done this?

Not 100%, but I believe that it doesn't fit, and if it does, you need to swap out something else inside the tranny to accomodate it. There was a thread on here a long time ago about it, but I don't remember the details, and it has been lost from what I can find.

It does NOT fit.

to the best of my knowledge it doens't fit, there are much better lsd's out on the market and they are worth it also
