is there any difference between b16a valves and integra type r valves? i have seen people do this swap along with the R valvetrain. does it give you better flow? higher compression? thanx
 
R valves are lighter, and help the valvetrain rev slightly better.

the difference is not worth getting new valves for though...stay with what you have and just do springs...fi you are switching cams.
 
yeah im placing thr R valvetrain in my first gen b16a head. i will be running 2000 ITR cams. i was told to just go with the R valvetrain if i was only gonna use the R cams. so will this be a good reliable setup. thanx for your help :spin:
