I got this car and have no idea what the dude did. The civic is an 89 DX MT. The dash is out of a CRX but I cant figure out what this cluster came out of. The redline is at 5k so I dont think its an SI. the hood dont look like it matches the cluster. if you look in the one pic you can see the top part of the cluster dont line up with the hood.

That cluster looks like it came out of a 88-89 hatch... if I remember correctly, all the EF-ED cars came with with more rounded top of the cluster in 90-91.

Oh and BTW there is 4 screws holding the Fuel and Temp plate so it seems like its out of 88-89 the 90-91 plate didnt have screws holding it in

I'm new to this whole thing, so I don't know what it's from, but I'll trade you a cluster with tach out of a 1990 4door with a 5 speed tranny! I picked it up the other day when the opportunity presented itself, but I need a cluster with tach for the 88 Civic hatchback I just got.

Ok well I know its 88-89. the 90-91 was more round than that. And from what I gathered the DX cluster has the speedo on the right and the fuel and temp are in the left circle. Its not an si cause they reline at 6.5. Anyone own a 88-89 crx

I'm really only looking for a trade. I just thought you might be interested since it looks like the housing in your CRX is for a 90-91 cluster.
