So... here I am. My car has been tuned, I got an intake manifold from the Type R drag motor that Chris Whitfield of Whitfield Racing (formerly HookUps) had...

Now, the turbo parts keep flowing in. I now have a turbo manifold, all the piping, and an intercooler... air to water. lol don't ask me, but these parts keep showing up at my house.

By the way, Mike... (b16) you can have your distributor back. :p Something is wrong with the old one...

So, now... my integra needs a turbo. that's pretty much it. Everything else I'd need is laying around in the shop. I fixed all the damage from the accident, got it tuned and the thing RIPS. I swear, it feels great to drive a 17 year old car. She will be getting new cams before all the turbo shit goes on, and I'm getting the B16A2 bottom end from the Civic Si for the turbo 'project'

in other news: I don't know if any of you know, but CTR has enlisted me. I will be driving some time late this season if all goes well. For now, I work on pit crew as Data Acquisition Specialist... I also buy the beer, help work on the drag motors, scout other cars, and work as an undercover... no one suspects the woman with kids... hahahaha... ok so anyway...

Watch out for the Civic Si... should be pulling 11s. all it has is a GS-R motor. swear to god. :p

The CR-X is coming out this weekend to make it's premier at CMI. We WILL take home the Jackpot. I promise. Pics will come from the event and us finally holding up a 1st place trophy.

Hopefully soon I'll be bragging on myself and my car. :)
 
sounds like the car life is pretty good right now. Great to hear. Can't wait to see the numbers you put down with the turbo!
 
not just car life either... real life. :)

i'm stoked. the integra becomes a true track project in march when i pick up my new accord. That way I have a nice, new, daily driver to rock around that's safe... then have fun in the widow maker. :)

Blanco - I considered it when I was needing to pay bills... then 3 weeks later I got a job. Then my boyfriend decided that he wanted to use it as 'his' track car.

...estimate how well that argument went... lol

so today was CMI. didn't see too many 'fast' cars there as it was just a lot of fun runs, but we had a good day.

11.2 consistent runs in 40 degree weather. Can't really complain. Danny Tran's 3 year project went into the wall, which really sucked ass. K motor with only ITBs. last pass ran a 9.8 full tube frame. trashed the rear quarter and front end... locked up the rear brakes and smash.

We did great until the last pass... only chopped an 11.3 but we were the fastest all motor car there. :) was a good day... saw lots of friends...
