Yea, it will for a little bit. I have done a few of builds and where i have painted the block and head. The head will get to only about 400-500 deg F. I know about 4-6 inches from the head will see about 1400-1600 deg. But oh well they look great when their done.


As, for the paint. I used high temp engine paint that dupont makes. Works out great.

Oh, this isn't my engine. Its a customers engine. It will make mid 300 HP.. Prolly 340-360 HP @ 15 psi. It will be a good running daily driver. Hes not going all out, as for this time. Maybe down the road i can get him to sleeve the block and then lead us to more HP with more headwork.
