Im rebuilding my engine and i am replacing everything but valves. the vavles have like 90k miles on them is it ok if i reuse them is there any danger in reusing them? how long do valves last? its just a mild build i just put type R valve sprins and cams in with p30 pistons.

Thanks.

also have them checked to make sure there not bent, much better to find out now than when you do a leak down...

the main thing is if the valves are bent or not. If NOT, then you should be fine with the stock valves, just make sure you do a good valve job on it so its good to go.

if you do use thes old valves don't forget to lap the valves to the newly machined head so you get a nice proper fit and seal of the valve face.

you can get lapping compound just about anywhere
