Using a 96-98 ex civic wire harness

I was just wondering if i could use a 96-98 civic ex wire harness to wire to a ob2 b18c so that i wouldn't have to add extra wires to my existing wire harness. I'm not sure, has anyone done this before? And if so can u tell me if it worked or not? I don't want anyone who THINKS they know to answer, i want someone who ACTUALLY knows the answer.
