I bought a pretty expensive HF radio from another amateur radio operator. He shipped it USPS 2-day Priority with insurance, but he had it picked up from his house so it didn't get an acceptance scan. It was picked up on the 14th, and there's still no "tracking" info.

I paid with PayPal, so all I'm out is time if it doesn't actually get here.

I won't be concerned unless it doesn't get here tomorrow night. Does that sound sane?
 
The 14th was Saturday.
It didn't do shit yesterday and likely didn't get processed until today.
USPS doesn't count the day it was received in their shipping times
So according to them, today is Day #1
It's also the holidays so assume everything to take on the long end.
I'd say at best you'll get it Wednesday.

2-3 day priority also isn't guaranteed. Unless you pay for "2-3 day guaranteed priority" which isn't the same as regular priority.
USPS says to contact them if you haven't received it after 5 days.

You're gonna have to wait a bit unfortunately.
 
USPS has actually greatly improved their tracking.

It's just the holidays.

I hate USPS with a passion, but it's the preferred service for eBay and it has PayPal integration, so guess what most small businesses use?

I get stuff shipped so often im use to it now, but its nothing strange for me to track it on usps and it say delivered and me not get it till the next day.
 
USPS is like the friend that you tell to text you when they leave, and then they text you when they're outside...
