v-tec problem?????? need help!!!!!!!!

when ever im driving at low rpm.... the car drives normal....... but when i take it past 4000 rpm... the rpm go crazy..... the car seems to run just fine.... but i feel no vtec..... and the orange thingy jumps around and almost does circles.....

"Orange thingy"? Do you mean the needle on the tach perhaps?

lol... yea... thats wat i mean.... i just couldnt think of the dam word at the time.... any advise of how to fix it????
