We'll be doing some skiiing, snowboarding and other stuff.

By the way it's freaking snowing! I've never seen snow so this is perfect.
pictures are being taken and some are already up in my face book page.

peace!

it's awesome!

got to go warm up the Subie!

pm me guys and girls if you wanna meet up.
i'll be here untill sunday.

Only person I can think of there is Jody.

I go to TN several times a year, sometimes quite often to see my pops who is located near Chattanooga. I actually just got back from there a week ago. Have fun in the snow, mang.

snow is awesome :) don't be fooled by your AWD. you still can't brake for shit in it with out proper tires.

I believe invisibledemon is from Tenn

RWD>AWD When it comes to handling. AWD is only good for never getting stuck. Snow is fun as hell to drive in, cause when you get good, you feel like Ken Block. The cold gets really old really fast though.

fooled?

what does braking have to do with going up snow? Every car car can't brake for shit if the snow is too tough.

I was the only vehicle to come back up in the mountain while all other cars either stayed in their cabins or stayed down the moutain.
that included a BMW 6 series, older BMW, hyundai santa fe, and some trucks.

I had to go up a steep switch back and the subaru did AWESOME!
When the VDC kicked in it was on like donkey king. :)

I remember someone staying in Raleigh.... hmmmm

im in nashville, wont be venturing out that far. lol.

have fun out there, and boast to every poor sucker stuck in their truck about the superior car you are driving. lol.

btw, what kind of subie are you driving and is it a dealer car?

Its a 2010 Forester that i sold to my bother in law.

runs good and serves it's true purpose very well.
tomorrow we'll be doing some more snow games. hopefully we dont get snowed in.

Didn't know there were some TN peeps here. My family is from the Decatur/Athens area. I've only been back there a handful of times, but I'd really like to go back in the next couple years to visit.

It's a 8 hour drive for me from home so I'll definitly be back.

As of right now we are snowed in. :(
Were gonna see if we can shovel the driveway clear to drive. All else we can handle but a steep decline with a sharp turn is too scary.

check my facebook for a few pics of our trip.

I go down there a lot its only 2 1/2 - 3 hours for me.. made it down there once in 2 or less hours..speed was a factor in that one trip

I'm back! made it out and glad I didn't get stuck in the snow storm coming.
here's some pics!

I almost wish it snowed that much here, I live in Hendersonville, like 10min from downtown Nashville...we got like maybe 2inches give or take. And it didn't last long. Is there very many people from TN on here? I am trying to find some Honda people in this area

how was the storm last week on monday and Tuesday?

it was pretty good.
the schools in davidson county (the county nashville is in) were closed all of last week.
the rest were closed most of the week.
all in all it was a pretty good snow. i expect more.
i also expect that we have the potential for another flood this spring, but people think im just crazy when i say that. after all, according to them, it was a "1000 year flood. it only happens every thousand years."
fucking retards. it happened in the 70's, and the 50's. and the 20's. etc.
