Vacum Air Leak

I have an 88 civic dx sedan.. Car seems to rev up and down and up and down and sometimes seems like it wants to just move forward when i have my foot on the brake when im sitting at a light or in traffic..like it's reving high and wants to take off..could this be a vacum leak possible? if so how do I check to see if they are any leaks?

No idea if it's a leak. To check vacuum lines, spray the line with WD-40 or a solution of soapy water in a spray bottle. If you see bubbles spitting from the hose, there's your leak.
