vafc wiring

so i got a an apexi vafc and am wanting to put it in my hatch that has a d16z6. in the directions one of the wires has to be slpiced into a vtm wire but since the z6 was swapped there isnt a vtm wire. i was wandering if i had to use this wire? thanks

you dont use it if it doesnt have it

alright thanks. the only reason its not there isnt a vtm wire is because the z6 was swapped and non-vtec civics dont have the vtm
