    hey i'm new to this website and so far found it very informative and as I've read thru it i keep reading about valve jobs i've also read about them in most of the magazines i read don't get me wrong i know alot just nothing about valve jobs pertaining to angles i've heard of three and five angle valve jobs any takers to enlighten me

    a valve job cleans up the seat where the valve lies against the cylinder head.

    ok three angle means the seat or where the valve touches the head is cut at three or five diffrent angles
    what it does is to unrestrict flow
    the other thing you have read about is a port and polish
    which means the enlarge the intake and exhaust ports slightly and smooth them out to help the flow
