Valve Lash????

    I have a 99 Si and I just replaced the valves and had some bottom end work done. I hear alot of valve noise. What are the intake and exhaust valves supposed to be set at?:confused:

    i used .006 intake & .008 exhaust what motor do you have?

    yes is it the stock 99si motor. or different.

    i believe this is the correct clearance.

    Valve Clearence:
    IN0.007-0.009)
    EX0.009-0.011)

    its a b16a2, im preping it for turbo. It has cp pistons eagle rods and bearing. 9:1 compression. I just want to make sure they are set right. Like always I appreciate all your help, thank you.

    yea all you should need is angle 10mm and a screw driver... or the factory or similar specialty tool

    yea just as long as you do not have other camshafts it should be good. if you have other then stock look up the camshaft and specs should be with it.
