I found this site that is suppose to help you become a faster reader after using this for a while. It defently does allow you to read a full cnn article in a minute or 2.

just copy and paste a long thing of text in there and press play. Supposeibly it trains you to pay attention at one word at a time and trys to stop you from delaying while reading normal stuff. When you first try it, you might have to replay the text once or twice, but after a few times, it isn't too hard to keep up and comprehend the text.
