Finished a b16a swap on a crx today and have the strangest problem. Got all the fliuds looked after and timmed then road tested hit high RPM and "engine light". Code 21-- sounds simple, Vetc Soilinod failure or un-pluged. check it all over with ohmm tests and even run a new wire back to the ecu problem will not go away. I have alot of b16 cars at the shop so simply swap vetc assemblys and ecu and even now the problem is still there. So all the parts were swaped for known good parts and the problem still is here what the heck..

suggestions????
 
Can it be the mount kit is causing a groung loop in the car not allowing the engine to engauge vetc? The rear mount from ENJO doesnt fit right and alows the tranny bracket to hit the sub-frame ( metal to metal)
 
Do you have a known working VTEC solenoid?

If so try that one in place of the one on your engine. Your mounts should not be causing this.
