VIN and Engine Serial Number

    Sorry if I'm posting this question in the wrong section but does any one know if it's possible to match the VIN to the engine serial number? If so, where can I find this information. Thanks.

    Production sequence number
    Canadian models share same VIN as U.S. except that their sequence numbers start at 800000. It is also important to note that, in the U.S., positions 13-17 must be a number, whereas position 12 may be either a letter or a number.
