Texas does the same thing. Except its a points system, and its $ every year you want to keep your license. Moving violations get points, 6 points in 3 years = $100/year to keep your license. $25 extra per point over that. 1st DWI = $1000 paid annualy for 3 years. 2nd DWI = $1500 paid each year for 3 years.
