VSS Compatibility

Anyone know if i can use a d-series single cam electronic VSS on a cable B16 trans?

been looking on google and getting mixed answers.

I think you can swap out the top half but Im not 100% sure.

try it and see.

if it fits, then bolt it in and give the wheels a spin by hand. see if there are any funny noises.
if not, then while its jacked up (and on jack stands) put it into gear and let them spin a bit to see if it registers.

thanks guys! ill be sure to add some photos of whatever i have to do to get mine to work since ill be using electronic vss in a cable b16 trans.
