    Hi guys,

I am kind of noob to the swapping i swapped my honda civic EG8 VTEC-E engine to VTEC. But didnt swap my ECU p07. Now the car doesnt go at all. IT takes time to pick up. Shows engine light. Many people said i had to put p08 there. But the truth is its not available in our country Sri Lanka. I need help to know whehter i can change the wiring of my p07 to suite the new engine. The thing is the older one was a D15b(VTEC-E) the new one is also a D15B which is VTEC? Can someone help me please. :(

Get the right ECU for the motor. Even if you get it wired right and teh CEL goes away, an ECU for a VTEC-E motor is going to run a normal VTEC motor like poop.
