I have put a 99 b16a2 into a 96 coupe. There is no vtec pressure swithc on the side of the head where it normally would be. The ecu plugs on the 99 obd2b had no vtec pressure switch wire but I know the car had vtec as I drove it before taking the engine out. So now its in the new car its throwing a fault code 22 which is bad circuit or disconected pressure switch. Is there another location the pressure switch could be. I was told it could be a JDM engine and thats why there wasn't one on the head. Just looking for a fix for it so i can get VTEC back. Thanks.
