vtec question

I had a post b4 about the dart block..I read that the dart block is a vtec short block..correct me if im wrong..I have an LS block..So if i get the dart block and obviously throw on the vtec head, what will i need in parts transfering from a non-vtec motor to a vtec one..I have always liked the LS block way better but the dart block is a vtec rated block, so i gues i dont have a choice..

Use whatever block you want. "Rated" doesn't mean anything if you're building a motor, since you can make any mod you want to make it handle the power you want.

the only difference is the in the oil passeage to the head really. on the dart/vtec blocks, you don't need to run an external oil feed to the vtec head. on the ls, you do.

the ls block sucks the most (besides the b20) out of all the b-series motors.
