This is an article from an older Turbo Magazine. It compares the 02 Celica GT-S with a 94 GS-R Teggy. It goes into detail how the VTEC and VVTL-I systems work and how they achieve higher lift.

I've been reading this article over and over trying to make a Lift Controller for my buddies with 2zz powered Matrix's. Anyone who's been in a 2zz powered car will tell you the lag waiting for Lift is almost unbearable. Specially between gear changes when it falls out of the Lift zone.

I got Lift to engage at 5700 instead of the normal 6400, but it toggled the 7K rev limiter :cry2: I'm still perfecting my design, but if anyone has experience with electronics and wouldn't mind chatting about it, PM me. I have AIM as well. TIA!!
