vtec wont engage

i need a lil help. just hooked up my 96accord with an f23 the only problem is vtec wont engage just got the car back from the shop like yesturday and i'm lookin around the distributer and i notice a fuse harnes that looks like it connets to the vtec solinoid not conntected. car runs but i'm not gettin any power from it wat am i missing and what do i need to buy

hey....you shouldnt have a fuse running from your vtec solenoid or pressure switch.....did you wait untill the car is warmed up?? vtec wont engage untill it is fully warmed up for safety reasons....if still a problem look at a chiltons book and look at the wiring harness diagram and find it that way...its pretty simple that way...good luck
