VX head on CX engine?

I want to go for ultimate mileage with my Canadian CX (16 valve engine). Is it possible to put the VX head on the CX block, I think I have to change the intake too? Any info would be much appreciated.
 
Wot!

Is there only power mongers out there? nobody into ultimate gas mileage?
If anyone out there has done this "mini-me" head swap, please tell me.
