i don't get it? what benefits are there from hacking it? i have one so i'm curious.

the ability to put sim cards from different companies is one of the MAIN reasons people do it.

U can hack the Verizon broadband access for free on your phone.
U can make it so u can transfer via bluetooth, which verizon doesnt allows u 2 do unless u unlock it.
Lots of little mods and stuff...
