This is to let you all know that as of now, the moderators and admins have the power to warn you because of your posts.

UPDATED 11/27/03
it goes from 0-10

once 3 is reached, you will receive a week suspension
once 5 is reached, you will receive a 1 month suspension
once 10 is reached, you will be banned indefinitly

any problems? make your own website :)

hopefully this will start to keep things more in check around here.
 
Reasons for warnings:
  • making stupid, useless, offtopic, out-of-forum posts- outside of the members lounge
  • "owning" a page
  • threadjacking
  • Remote linking to pictures from 'risque' websites. (like consumptionjunction.com, itakeitintheass.org, etc) if its a SAFE pic, but on a NOT safe website- save it, up it to the gallery, then link it in a post. Save us our jobs.
  • posting anything NOT work safe without a work warning in the title/description of the post- or in big bold letters before a LINK
  • blatantly flaming another member- NOT their ideas, but them themselves. (ie, you're a fucktard, instead of, boosting 40 pounds is stupid on an EW4). again, this is NOT applicable to the memeber lounge- only tech forums. the lounge is about debate and such and things tend to get out of hand,.... but as long as its out of the tech forums, i guess we can let it slide.
ANY AND ALL of these are subject to change without notice, and you can be banned outright for any reason just like in the past without being warned first. theses are to be effective immediately.

It's a shame that it has come down to this, but things need to get back in check around here....

please do not ask me or another moderator WHY you have been warned. Each time a warning is given, there is a block for the mod to add a reason which will be sent to you via pm.

this is not a democracy- this is the itnernet where federal laws don't apply, and i have declared marshall law :)

warnings CAN be lowered. over time, if WE, the staff, feel you have shaped up, and are sorry for your sins, warnings can be taken away at the mods/admin's descretion.

updated for new system.

now, goes from 1-10 and mods have the ability to suspend/ban via the warning panel.
