I know I'll probably get flamed for this one, but
how is it the Spoon civic can rev to like 18,000rpms???
I know Spoon makes bad ass cars, but isn't that a little much?
You would have to have some hella badass valve springs.
Maybe somebody here will know.
Or atleast I'll get flamed for a while...
 
I understand it's a game, but it's supposed to be based on real car physics.
I think Spoon might really have a car that can do it.

How can a Hyabusa rev to 13000 unmodified? It's called LOW lift cams. You don't need alot of lift when you rev so high, the overlap makes all the power.

You don't need valve springs allthat tight when the lift isn't as big as an ITR, or whatever aftermarket cams. Spoon make LONG duration, high overlap, low lift cams for their race engines, not the "street" engines you hear aobut people getting imported over here.
