Wastegate solenoid

    Ok, so let's say I have an extra EVAP Purge solenoid. I can use this for a wastegate control solenoid, correct?

    He's not understanding that an evap solenoid is the same thing. I'm interested in pressure ratings. He's interested in epeener.

    Anyone know how much pressure can build up in the civic gas tank before something blows?

    Well, I just tested it at 50PSI while closed for 12 hours with 0 leakage. I think it'll work fine.

    Damn those little things will hold 50psi.:eek: So how do you plan on using it to actuate the wastegate?
