ok this should be quick.

when using a manual boost controller with an external wastegate, does it matter what size spring is in the WG? obviously it shouldnt be higher than the set boost on the mbc but im guessing it should be as small as poss to prevent spiking and allow the WG to open ASAP :roll:

dont respond if you think you know. would prefer people that know for sure.
 
wastegate spring is your base pressure no matter what.

boost controllers can only RAISE your boost level from that.
 
right. so ill just go with around .3 or .4 bar for the WG spring and set the low mbc setting to as close to 6 psi as poss.
high setting of 10psi until i upgrade the internals.

well i guess its time to purchase a tial 38mm :D
