The clutch wont let me get into gear. Monday morning it was all good till I stopped to get gas. I got back in it and pushed the clutch and heard a snap-pop. Then I had a very weak pedal. I could push it in and not roll. We replaced the pressure plate and that didnt fix it so now im waiting on a new clutch plate to show up.
Im getting good at taking this tranny out of this car. LOL.
Any ideas as to what it may be? Thanx in advance.

No, sorry forgot to mention that the cable is still good. Moves nice & free. We thought that if it were frayed it would be tough to move but its all good.

Nope. Looks good to us. Spins freely and moves out nice & smooth. Everything that has to do with the clutch to make it all work looks good. It absolutely mind boggling. Its as if ithis is one of those guessing games, what is it im looking for? LOL

Checked. It too is good. That was our initial thought once I heard the snap-pop sound.

Well im not sure how to check for that other than taking it off and putting a straight edge on it.

Thats the last resort, going inside of it.
By the way...who is that chick you posted and said stare into her eyes? Ya she is kinda freaky looking. lol

    Double check your linkages.

I drove an integra 300 miles one time, no clutch, no stopping. One of the rods on the fork broke and I lost all use of the clutch, I pushed it to get it going, shifted with no clutch, and didn't stop until I got home. Genius.

I thought about the rods that the linkage is connected to. But that would be an internal thing and we dont want to go there just yet. I will look at them right now seeing how I am staring at the car on the lift with the motor falling out of it. LOL

Well I just remembered that the pedal was normal then went soft on me. So imm thinking it has something to do with the clutch. Nothing else but I guess you never not eliminate everything else.

its the fuel that you put in it. The tranny rejected it. you should drain the tank and put better fuel in it. (dont take this seriously. if you do. your a moron)

    +3 for tranny goblins

Double check your cable and its attatchment points, make sure the plastic nut on the adjuster is still in good shape, and that your clutch pedal itself or the brackets haven't bent or broken.

my vote is the bolt that holds the release fork that the throw-out bearing sits on. it's held in place with a single bolt that holds it to a shaft. if that bolt was sheered off, the shaft would just rotate inside of the fork. but with nothing to hold the fork in place, such as the pressure plate, then the fork would appear to operate normally. remove the transmission and remove that bolt. if it's broken, you'll need to remove the other half of it with your choice of screw remover.
