Weight vs. Diameter

should i get a 205/60-14 tires that weighs 19lbs a piece w/ a 6.7 inch tread width

or get a 195/60-14 tire with 16lbs 6.1 inch tread .2 inches smaller diameter

i will mostly be drag racing
the question grip or less unsprung weight?

Get the lighter/smaller tires imho. Less rolling mass, and a smaller diameter will give you a different gearing effect. I'll be like having more torque throughout the run.

gearing doesnt matter if he sacrafices the launch, which is everything in drag. i say go for the 205's. how much power does the car have?

Definitely go for the wider wheel, you should have plenty of power.
