Ah yes, you are correct- the 2000GT... but Octopussy had a few 5 series BMWs in them, along with a BMW motorcycle- so the Z3 was not the first. I found a web site that said the 007 franchise bought a bunch of 2000 series BMWs for models to drive around in to promote one of the late 60s Bond movies, so maybe that's where I got it from. Who knows.
 
I don't know my Bond cars too well, but I do the Celicas well. That Convertible GT2000 was the only convertible ever built, and is a true, official Shelby designed and Toyota built car, Not a prop.

LHD GT2000s go for $120k+, so I can only imagine what that car is worth.
