That was awsome! I wish I could just go out and blow something up.
awesome stuff there
thanks for the pics and video Klyph
rep for you
thats a really interesting job you have there.
how often do you have to survey the new locations? new one every couple of days?
I see a Nortel digital telephone.
Looks like a blast, klyph.
pretty cool.. i'm left wondering how you have time to take all these pics and work at the same time..
They shoot every day, so everyday we have to layout pattern, then measure the location of the holes after it's drilled, then stake the zones after it shoots. This is actually less than half of what our duties are. There's a million other little things we have to do throughout the day.
I took the pics over a couple of days, we go everywhere on the mine site and are right in the middle of what's going on, so I am actually working while taking pics.
Freaking cool man. Must be nice to have an interesting job.
That is pretty damn cool man, thanks for sharing. Trimble is the company that supplied the GPS tracking for the fleet of Concrete Mixers at the ready mix company I worked for.
AND he gets paid for it. That video was sweet even without sound.
Awesome tour y0!
Now, show us the GOLD!!!!!!!!!!!!
Digg - Virtual Tour of Fort Knox Gold Mine, Alaska
I'd trade it for a job in a tropical climate
It has sound, turn your speakers on dude.
I haven't seen a single flake since I started
I do know where the gold room is, but I don't have access, they actually have hand-scanners and security guards posted at the door.
Thanks for the digg, I don't have a shovel ^_^
I don't doubt its lack of sound. I have a lack of speakers, haha.
