TO the OP have you even looked into how you are going to get the car registered? If it was easy and cheap to do you would see a lot more JDM cars around.

I thought importing a jap rwd car would be cool. . . . registration & OBDII inspections are impossible however. If you live anywhere close to a place where it'd be "swwweeeettt" to have a Jap imported car, chances are you cannot legally get it on the road.
