Yeah, but checking the air pressure in the tires needs to be done fairly often. Just like not being able to check the oil in the new BMWs. Thats total crap.
welcome to technology.
the obc has tire pressure sensors

W8 . . you cannot check the oil in them?

I thought they had fancy sensors in them which would tell you the oil level from the car itself??

yep, even my car has a computer which calculates your driving style against your mileage.

when i bought my car, i had 18,500 miles till the next oil change on the obc.
i've put about 7000 miles on it, and i have 200 miles left on the obc for my oil change (going in sometime this week for service).
so, obviously i drive harder than max-life potential of the oil (which is special shit thats like 15 bucks a quart)
I still have a dipstick though.

I've heard that the 1series was starting at $25k, but I didn't hear that at $25k there would be a different engine in the car.

I heard that it started at $25k and if you optioned the car out it was $35k.

:(

I expected this:

that is hot

My tire pressure system uses the ABS/Speed sensors

1 tire loses pressure, it spins at a different rate then the others
-I then get a light on my dash along w/a chime (and it definatly works)

there are two types of tire pressure monitors...

active and passive.

you described the passive version.
the active version acutally has a unit in the wheel
