My pop is leaving from Victoria on Feb 5 headed for SoCal. He'll venture around Cali and Nevada until the 17th, thats when I fly in. Then I'm on the search for wheels!

Maybe I'll see some of you guys around. :)

He's rocking the 4 door. ;) Or maybe I'll convince him to take my rex.

Looking around the internet, from what I've seen most places want 900+ for a set.

Personally I wouldn't count these as having tires on them, as Federals are the cheapo Les Schwab standby for "performance" applications, and with 2 of them being bad I'd just toss them and replace with something legit. If they are in perfect condition like the pics tend to show, I'd offer 650 and haggle from there. Probably wouldn't pay more than 750 for em, and even that is a lot to pay for wheels.

I wouldnt have him take the CRX to SoCal. One night in a hotel and it could be gone. Thieves are quick.

whats are you planning to do once you acquire said wheels?
my suggestion would be to look for rims with no tires and just ship them back your house

that civic is gonna get fulll quick if you try to stack in full of rims

Sprints are my favs too but I wouldnt spend that much on wheels. Regamasters are just like Slipstreams so no for me. Thats why I'm looking into Mugens.

Is this guy an importer? EDIT: Stupid question.
I have not heard of this dude...is he another JDM wheel whore? Lol

Taking the I5 because I have to be back for school and work, I'm only down there for a weekend. We'll be driving ALL night, lol. Which kinda sucks because I'll miss out on a great drive. Thats the route my dad is using on the way down though.

    I wish.

Tell him to bring a camera and a couple memory cards, the 101 drive is really fuckin awesome, especially from Lincoln City to Florence.

And Clayton = airjockey, but "wheel whore" definitely applies.
