Dude I woudnt be surprised if that car had a 250HP turbo motor in it

the US cars US and JP are getting better but the cars over in Japan as with EVERY OTHER COUNTRY are still better


10 years ago ford made a 200+ HP turbo 4cly over seas
this country got a 110hp escourt

even to this day the cosworth makes like tripple the HP VS the US counter part
 
P.S even if the motor/tranny are the same as over here at least they be sportin some blingin diggity wheels

not quite triple. I'll agree though, Escort Cosworth > any us counterpart.

but the ZX2 made 130 hp before ceasing production... and that was a 23 year run for the escort. Not bad at all.

and those are the same rims that are on the 96-02ish Z24s over here.
 
its very confusing...it might be a cavalier body with a toyota engine, like a 2zz or something. my moms van is something like that; the body is a mercury villager(on the door jam it says made at a nissan-ford plant) but has a maxima vg30 motor. actually sounds nice when you floor it(has sort of a sport mode).

cars in america are underpowered due to liberal people that want economical cars (slow cars), and also low speed limits...i guess in other countries there arent as many car related deaths/accidents...thats the only reason i could think that other countries would get a 200HP turbo car and US, the maker of that car, would get a 110HP n/a
 
The site i foudn this on had a guy who works for toyota that says it's the same motor over there than it is over here, same 2.2 and 2.4 ECOTEC motors, just badged under Toyotas.

People actually put Chevy symbols on them over there so they can have Chevrolet "imports"
 
hahaha thats some funny stuff.. however, maybe toyota is trying to make some friends? seeing as they are so eagar to get a piece of NASCAR and Top Fuel.. but i guess its a fair trade since the Vibe/Matrix is pretty ugly..

Those wheels = Pontiac Sunfire Wheels
TRD makes performance parts for it...
They are RHD...

My friend Abe has a JDMcav... thas his name on aim. He knows a lot about the JDM counterpart. He has the JDM air bags (Toyota emblem), JDM tails (4 hour rewire job) and some other minut details. Very cool. He is also getting the TRD front bumper for it. There are only 3 listed in the US.

because it is the law over there, as it should be here. i cant tell you how many times i have gone into the same lane as someone else coming the other way on the highway just because i cant see their signals and they cant see mine.
