I have a knock sensor problem and my question is, what causes a knock sensor code to throw ? does it mean that the sensor is bad or what ????

Things that cause the Knock sensor code.

    1- Bad sensor
    2- Faulty wiring/ECU
    3- Wrong timing
    4- Wrong grade of fuel

Not that I remember, but I'm sure there probably is a way.
